Darlene
[shamelessly snitched from another site cause I thought it was an excellent idea!] I'd like to make a suggestion for all of us who are stirring around trying to figure out what to do with our emotion, sadness, fear, etc. etc. on this trying day... Today I dedicated my run to the victims of 9/11. I ran for the businessmen/women who ran for their lives that day, the men/women who loved to run but lost their lives, the people who were hurt and may never run again. I realized that my better health and fitness might be what saves me and/or my family or someone else should I be involved in something similar, which brought some real seriousness to my workout today. I'd like to propose that whatever our workout is for today, we do it honor of those whom we call heroes today because of their bravery and their strength. ------------------ "Sooner or later everyone quotes their mother." ozzzyyy
MidnightMom...good for you to lay 9-11 out in that perspective...sounds like it was a healing day! I admire your enthusiasm and will encourage you keep on keepin' on! I only *worked out* at my 2 jobs (8am-4pm & 5pm-9:30pm) so yesterday was a full day for me...but my desire is to touch every one that I meet with hope, grace and love of what has been so graciously given to me. ------------------ Quote Link to comment
