Do you know if they're larva or slugs?

Just a quick look found this for natural slug control:

Hope you can find some help at these sites.

That was perfect! Thanks for the help!

I will try the sugar water soaked newspaper under a board.

.....................now I have to go out and check my snow peas?

As stated on another page here I have sparrows eating my snow peas this year?

NOW I am wondering IF they are eating the slugs and that is what we see NOT them eating the leaves.

Thanks for the heads up .

I use beer for slugs... I put it in a shallow dish and set it on the ground. The slugs love beer so they come to drink. Then, they are too drunk to get out of the beer, so they drown! What a way to go, eh?

Our city has those HUGE slugs that look like they belong in a sci-fi movie. Every year, they go after the collards and peppers. The only peppers that they don't touch are the sweet banana peppers. I don't know why they avoid those but I grow a lot of them to ensure that I have peppers to put in the freezer.

We too had HUGE slugs here years ago........................

When they filmed part of the movie SLUGS here in Lyons, NY! :sHa_sarcasticlol:

and MOST of Lady in White was filmed here too.

For a small town THAT was BIG, BIG, BIG as they took over the town for about 2 months - I even got to work behind the scenes (mostly videoing what they were shooting and when he wanted to see what was going on like when they were looking at cars so they could pick which ones ‘fit’ the street scenes) for most of it and have a small non specking part (Court House) but you would never know it was me ( I had to wear a suit and hat). Was to be in the school party but things didn't work out with all the releases for Bubbles to be a part of it. :-(

Now about banana sweet peppers I just came in from planting 3 of them along with others (total 20 peppers) in one bed where I found I had some extra room when the lettuce started to bolt due to weather.
