Worms in my spinach?

Recommended Posts

I was blanching some spinach from my garden last night, and when I pulled it out of the water, I noticed there were some teeny tiny little white worms INSIDE the leaves (yuck!). Any idea what these might be?

Leaf miners feed inside leaves of columbine and other perennials. Could that be it?

Looks like that might be it. I did a little more research and it looks like I can put neem oil on it. Now I just have to figure out where to buy neem oil...

We buy ours at Agway. We get a concentrated bottle and mix it up in one of those hose attachment sprayers. We spray the garden and the yard with it (really cuts down me getting bit up). The brand at our Agway is Bonide.

We don't have Agway here, but I'll certainly look for Bonide! Thanks for the tip!
