gofish
I have 3 teenagers. 18,15 and my Turkey baby will be 14 on Black Friday. There are times when I feel WW3 will start in my house. The youngest 2 are 20 months apart. There can be a lot of strife between them. Lately they have been moody. I've had to lay down the law. Today at church Son went up to a neighbor of ours who is a pilot and has a plane. He asked the man if he paid for fuel could he get a Birthday flight for his sister. Just because he knew his sister would like to go for a flight. DH and I had no idea he was going to do this. Tomorrow he is going to the farm and work to pay for the flight. I love seeing hints of them starting to grow up. One day I might even miss WW3 in the living room. Quote Link to comment
Cat
Sounds like you raised them right. There's an underlying flow of love that still runs deep. Of course, teaching them about God's love is a very basic groundwork to show them that families can disagree and still love each other. Quote Link to comment

lumabean
he sounds like such a sweet boy who loves his sister a lot (despite their bickering at times). I am sure this is one gift she will always remember, and even more so the effort and care he put in to it Quote Link to comment
