gofish
After being cold, rainy/snowy all week it's a beautiful 68* today. Dh and I did some yard work this morning. We have to decide what to do about some trees that need to be cut down. A few didn't make it through last year's drought and we have some mullberries that are to close to the house. My rhubarb is coming up, I was sure I accidently killed it off last summer. Dh let some parsnips go to seed and a large number of them coming up this year. It was a good day. Quote Link to comment
Jeepers
Glad you had a good day Gofish! It was good here too. I had to buy a new lawn mower but the old one didn't owe me a thing. It lasted a long long time and mowed a lot to grass. Son and I brought it home in the Jeep and he put it together and mowed my grass. I really needed it. It seems like I'm always the last one in the neighborhood to mow in the spring and my yard looks like one of those on that Hoarder show. I'll bet people wonder what my house looks like inside. My grandma used to say you could tell what kind of housekeeper the woman is by looking at the outside of the house. Yikes. Quote Link to comment
