Halloween Kids

We gave out candy and glow sticks to the tikes this year. 

 

A small group came up, the olders let the little ones go first and the last two weren’t dressed up. The taller boy, I’m guessing, was about 8, t-shirt, jeans & a baseball hat. 

 

I asked, “What are you supposed to be?”

Smiling, he replied, “I’m a teenager.”

 

Trying not to laugh, I asked the next boy, “And you, what are you?”

He too had blue jeans with a dark grey t-shirt. 

He grinned and said, “I’m the background person in a movie scene, that nobody notices.”

 

Those were the best answers we’ve ever gotten. Those kiddos must have planned what to say.
