Please help me!(with my macrame project)

Okay I've put at least 15 hours into this project and one of my strings snapped when I was tying it off and it is so close to the base that there is no way for me to tie the ends together. Please help I'm not even half way done with this.

Do you have one of those big blunt needles?  You could use it to trace the thread back far enough to get a tying-off length..

I agree with guest Ashley. That should work.  Wow, I haven't done macrame in a few years. It was fun. Maybe next year when things slow down I can pick it up again. Made a few for hanging planters years ago.

Glad it worked out.  Yes wanting to see the finished product. Love what I see so far. Very pretty.  Now I want to get back into doing it again. Been a few years since I did it but should come back quick.  For me it was very relaxing.

Relaxation has measurable value, too.  For me, regular knitting lowers my blood pressure average by right at 20 points.

Wow.  I should encourage DH to resume his counted cross stitch project....  He did that years ago when he did night shift at a juvenile detention "house".  He also was learning Greek.  Long hours with hopefully nothing exciting to do.  At this time, his BP could come down 20 pts for sure.

I had to take a bit of a break to let a couple of blisters heal but I've gotten some progress done. I'll post pictures once I've made a bit more progress

Awesome Ashley. Can't wait to see them. I did macrame many years ago. Made some wall hangings and some hanging potted plant holders from jute. Very popular in the 70's. Glad to see it making a come back.

Took me awhile to get back to it but I have made a good amount of progress.
