Here's a list of items that Juan's mom gave me. These are items she has sent and others that have been requested:

Personal items:

Shavers

Shaving cream

Baby wipes

Panty liners to absorb sweat inside their helmets

Books and magazines including comics

DVD movies

Food staples:

Canned meats like tuna and sandwich spreads

Canned fruit

Canned chili (Wolf Brand preferred)

(Canned goods can get expensive to send I send only a few each time)

Crackers

Chips

Hard candy that will not melt ( they give it to the children)

Cookies

Jerky and other dried things

Always asking for DrPepper but you need to rap in foil and zip lock it to get there so it won't explode in the box.

Basically any thing that has a shelf life.

More expensive items:

Game boy games

My son has also asked for an laptop, so if anybody has one just gathering dust in a closet they would like to donate and a digital camera which I will probably get him next month.

They also ask for cigarettes and chewing tobacco, but myself I refuse to send that addicting horrible habit forming junk.

Last week I sent him DVDs with 2 cans of chili, crackers, DrPepper, cookies and some other stuff for they could have a little party and watch movies.

Thank you,

Glenda

[And a thank you from me too to everyone who participates! sg]
