Jeepers Posted September 4, 2020 Share Posted September 4, 2020 How awesome is that! I watch them all the time. They are so knowledgeable and giving. My very first pressure canner was a Mirro and I still have it. I usually use my Presto now just because of the gauge but I still use that huge pot to cook in. That pot holds a ton of soups ready to can. I got my Mirro in the 1970's and it still pressure cans as good today as it did in the 70's. This is a very good canner. Good luck to whom ever wins it. Littlesister Posted September 6, 2020 Share Posted September 6, 2020 Jeepers, I have two of the Mirros and love them. I wanted a presto but I don't have enough clearance for one. I am lucky to be able to just barely get a jar out of the Mirro without hitting the range hood. I got an e-mail on that give away.
