Just thought I had better get this thread ready as I know someone will be sending the ornaments out soon.   :)

Just add that you have sent them out and when you get them.    :)

Ok so I am late to the party. The first attempt at an ornament was an epic fail. They lied when they said 6 years old and older. Who knows maybe the 6 year old could have done it better. Any way the first attempt ended up in the garbage. However, the second attempt is looking a lot better. It should go out Wednesday or Friday.

I received Annarchy and Snowmom ornaments today.

Hi, I had mine sent on November 19th.    My niece took them to the P.O. for me.

We didn't get our mail today so not sure if I got one or not.

Wow, that was fast mommato3boys, was it all in one piece or had it gotten broken??

Maybe one of those "3 boys" has a 6 y.o. that can help you???  :24:

ETA: Got snowmom's today.  Maybe you should have sent it packed in ice......... it seems to have "melted." ;) :whistling:

I wish the 5 year old lives with mom in Virginia. The two here are 2 and 5 months. I could just see the 2 year old helping and the 5 month old would eat everything LOL. I chunked that project and will look for something that does not require a 6 year old next year. :laughkick:

Hubby went to the post office today and mine are officially on the way, everyone should have theirs by the weekend. The post office was closed by the time I got there Saturday.

Ok, so I am the late one, I got one from mommato3boys on Saturday.  Thank you so much, love it.

Looking forward to getting Midnightmom's.    :)      It will probably come today.

I am going to try to get a picture in here with this.        YES!!   It worked.     This is our tree, and you see part of the kitchen to the right and a bit of the diining-room to the left.      The wall behind is a wall of cupboards.

Thank you Jeepers.     Of course it isn't a real tree, with all of my allergies and stuff, we just don't put up a real one.

Midnightmom, I love the ornament, thank you so much.    It is on the tree.   :)

Thank you to everyone who joined in the exchange this year.

It has been mentioned to me that starting next year we need to make sure that the year is someplace on the ornament or a paper taped to it or something.     That way we know what year we got it.     Some of us are getting older and sometimes don't remember all those dates.   :)       I think I am probably the oldest one in Mrs. S.

Want to see some pictures of our home??

The tree is on the other side of this wall.    :)   Of course this is part of the kitchen.   :)LIVINGROOM 1.jpg

Part of our living room.

Oh my goodness Snowmon. Your new home is so lovely! I'm sure you will enjoy it. Those wooden cabinets in the kitchen are so beautiful too. Just my style. And they look so roomy. i see food storage in their future.

Thank you for sharing your home with us.  :hug3:

P.S.

The last real tree I had was about 40 years ago. It shed pine needles all in the carpet. The carpet was a shag green sort of thing and so were the needles.  We were picking them out of our feet for a month. Ouch. They don't call them pine NEEDLES for nothing.

How did you get it to be so round!?!?!?!?  :scratchhead:

You twist the sticks the same way each time and it make it curve.
