Yes, OOTO, I do have a small hydroponic system.  We use it mostly to grow lettuce.  I’ve seen the systems used for animal feed and have grown similar feed only in soil for my animals.  There is a place in Iowa, Farm Tech, where they sell huge automated hydroponic systems to feed cattle and other livestock.  I love the old fashioned ways but I’m fascinated with the modern innovated methods as well.  Thanks for the link.
