Linda
just got home from being at the hospital for the last 8 1/2 hrs. my DH's Dr, called and told me to get him to the hospital right a way. so i did. his potass. is way to low and so is his red blood count. they nedded to give him more blood. the dr. said that he thinks he is bleeding out somewhere and he will be running test tomorrow. i am so tired right now and need to relax so i can think. i really hated leaving him there; but... Linda
last night they gave DH a 2 units of blood and this morning it isn't up enought yet so they are giving him two more units today, and hope they can get it up enough to run the testing they need to on him. So far all i know is that he is bleeding inside and they don't know where as of yet. when i seen him this morning his coloring was a little better. so that was hopeful. I had to laugh at our DD, her second response to all this was "Ma, don't forget to eat." like i will forget to eat< ha ha My DH has been in the hospital before, but this time I feel somewhat differant, it is kind of hard to explain. but I feel safe. protected from what who knows cause i don't. ... like i said kind of strange. ... but then again it's me we are talking about. But want to THANK All of you for you prayers and support. THAK-YOU Quote Link to comment

Guest Guest
Wonderful news that he's home. So what are they doing to ensure this doesn't happen again? Quote Link to comment
Linda
that is what it looks like it was an ulcer. they ended up giving him three pts. of blood. to keep him out of the hospital... well thinking of not going to the doctor again; it seems that when he goes see that guy he sticks him in the hospital Quote Link to comment
