I make tomato juice in my Champion with very similar results. I also throw cukes in sometimes. Stir some of the pulp back in if you want thicker (like a tomato smoothie).

Kansas can be both ridiculously hot (42 days over 100 here so far) and stupid cold (regular ice storms). Our wind is insane. We often have gusts of 45-60. I've learned that the plastic used to build high tunnels (often called hoop houses) is an excellent weight to hold up against high wind and heat for insulating your windows under either condition.
