  1. I know a young lady who is going to college to be a teacher for special need children and she volunteers at a class with children with autism. She told me that changing from one activity to another without notice or time to prepare is indeed very disturbing and stressful to the child with autism. If this group of kids is going from one activity to another, you may want to prepare your little angel by telling him/her what is about to happen in advance, for each and every activity. She does this and from what I understand, it helps tremendously.

  2. Hello Mt Rider! Hello Dogmom4! Glad to be back. Annarchy, no worries. I'm able to be back on the forums. My name doesn't matter. I have a feeling I'll always be "Cootie" no matter what my username says...LOL!

  3. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back! Annarchy, Cat has been incredibly helpful getting me logged back in when the system wouldn't log me in as Anyala...and helped me get in as "Cootie." I'm sure Cat appreciates your recognition of her abilities! No worries!

  4. LOL! Well the site wouldn't let me log back in as Cootie for some reason, but instead found my original name when I first logged on years ago. I don't know why the system gives me password problems from time to time so I just gave up. That's why I've been away for so long. Then I just decided to try for a new password and got logged in as Anyala. Hope it doesn't happen again!

  5. Thanks for clearing all this up for me Nana,

I will keep the N95 masks for just going out in public, without the children. They will stay home. I didn't even consider that there may be gaps in their masks due to size differences. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I'll buy a box of those surgical masks. What are they named / called so I can be sure I'm purchasing the right ones?
