  1. G&V, I really didn`t change my diet at all to lose the weight. I just added the coconut oil. I take about 3 Tbs. full a day. I put it in food and sometimes in my coffee or tea........sounds gross, I know. I also eat it just plan from the spoon, I do not recommend taking it that way though, it`s hard to get down. LOL. I am hypothyroid and I think that is why I lost weight so easily with the coconut oil. It regulates the thyroid gland. My weight loss was about two years ago. I than got pregnant with our second DD, I had a hard time taking the coconut oil while pregnant. So I am just now getting back to taking it everday. I still need to lose quite a bit of weight. Six years ago after our 1st DD was born I had severe PD and my Dr. put me on Paxil. Needless to say, anyone with hypothyroid SHOULD NOT take Paxil...........Grrrrrr. We do have a pretty good diet. I would love to do more NT diet though. It`s hard for me to be able to afford the pastured dairy, and meat. I have not found a source for raw milk yet, so I buy whole OG milk for regular use and I make yogurt.
  2. I don`t post much, but I had to say that coconut oil is AWESOME stuff. I lost over 30 lbs just using the oil, I didn`t change my diet at all. I just bought 6 more gal last week..............I`m good to go for a while.
