  1. We are experimenting with something called deep watering the eggs. Use pickling lime and distilled water, plus fresh unwashed eggs. We have had them on the shelf for 2 months and they are fresh as new.

  2. Help! My layers are producing faster than I can use or sell! I have made tons of noodles, eaten eggs until I am cackling and I think I heard my hubby crow this morning! We don't have a big enough connection to sell, and are getting g over run. Any suggestions?

  3. I have been absent for many years,  doing the living thing.  Now I have returned with a renewed fervor for preparedness.  Oh,  this world! I am looking for tips,  ideas,  encouragement.  I cannot wait to reconnect with like minded hearts here.
