logcabinmama
It has been very hot today and yesterday. Looks like we could be in for storms this weekend though. Hope the storms are not to bad though. Is anyone around the area in WI that had the tornado the other day? I hope all are ok. Our birds are leaving us too. There aren't near as many Hummingbirds around. But, it is getting that time of year and there probably won't be any of them around next week at this time. We still have lots of other birds though. ------------------ Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
We were in the 90's today and supposed to be a high of 92 again tomorrow. The mosquitoes are bad as are the crickets and grasshoppers. We've taken the fence down so the birds (turkeys & peacock) can get into the gardens and enjoy what's left since it's dying down to nothing. The barn swallows gathered together a couple of weeks ago and are gone. So are the red winged black birds. We always have lots of Canada geese in the pasture and they're busy teaching their young to fly as a group. They'll be leaving before too long. Fall is here but hopefully winter is a long ways off! ------------------ Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
We don't have weathermen around here. Here's the local forecast until Christmas. High of 90F (plus or minus 5); low of 80F (plus or minus 5); chance of showers. ------------------ Quote Link to comment

(sigh) we really could use some. Well won't have to cut the grass much since it's all dieing. di ------------------ Quote Link to comment
logcabinmama
It was cooler here today too. Sunday was soooo hot, it was in the 90's here. Now, it is nice out and I can be outside and enjoy the outside again. Could get warmer by the weekend they say. But, don't think we will have any more of the 90 temps. One never knows though do we. ------------------ Quote Link to comment
