  1. Dee, How did the movie compare to the book? I couldn't put the book down but lots of violence and I really wanted a happier ending.
  2. has anyone else read this book? It was recently made into a movie. I thought .. well I'd try it I wasn't impressed.
  3. THANK YOU, THANK YOU... I feel very welcome. I just love a big porch and a rocking chair. I am a mother to 7, 5 my own and 2 step kids. I am a grandma of a 6 mos old premie. I am thirty- four yo and have an older husband. We live in the semi- country. its rural but still too many neighbors and yet no one close to converse with. I like the computer since its easy to be open when you're not face to face. I like a variety of things and excell at none. I am working on a teaching degree. I hope to have my associates in 2006. I have 60 cc to be a teachers assistant so will be looking for full time work in sept. Thanks for listening, any questions just ask.
  4. I'm sorry I guess I didn't say.. I have a small garden of rhubarb. My dh and I grew up eating it and it has lots of vit c for the kids. It is an old vegetable that I'd like to keep around in my family. Like sauerkraut.. We make that too.
  5. Those are great ideas! my mother used tapioca as the thickner for rhubarb sauce. I prefer the sweet to the sour! EWW, makes my mouth water.
  6. what kinds of recipes do you have for rhubarb? I can make jam, and 2 kinds of pie and 1 sauce. the jam is made with Jello. I am always looking for more ways to cook it. Thanks
