Well , I'd like to say it's gotten better , but then I'd be lying and my parents taught me better than that!My 10 yr old DD has entered the pre tenn hussy stage and she has gotten soooooooooo sassy that some days I really have to restrain myself - except today wasn't one of those those days!!! I went off on her in front of her teacher!! She was missing a page of work and her teacher told her about it last Wednesday - and she also told me but DD didn't know that part. I waited a couple of days and asked if she had turned it in - she looked at me shocked but then made an excuse. I gave her till this Monday to get it turned in cause she had a choir concert on Weds. and a cello concert on Thur. Well, we're walking to the car this afternoon and I asked her if she ever got it turned in and she tried to say the teacher wouldn't give her a copy of the worksheet. So I marched her up to her teacher and asked her the same question again. That's when she smarted off to me. I swear if we weren't if front of the school I might have slapped her - that's what I would have got from my mom!! So her teacher gladly went and got her the paper. She in her room doing it now!
And then Becca , yes my DD Becca , in her class they each have a behavior chart that hangs from their desks that they get a sticker on for good behavior at the end of the week. Becca's teacher noticed Becca's card was suddenly full!!She had gone around and pulled stickers from the other kids sheets! AAAGGGHHH!!! Calgon TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
