Guest Guest
There is so much information on the net about henna. I think I found a really excellent site that covers all or at least most of the bases. http://www.hennaforhair.com/ the story of henna http://www.bytheplanet.com/Products/Henna/Henna.htm I will add this from another site.... Henna Rinse It is advisable for a novice to use a light or weak rinse until the "taking" quality of henna is understood. If the first rinse is too light, it may be repeated until the desired shade is obtained. Henna dye shows MORE color on second day after application. Henna rinse: Steep 1/2 ounce of powdered henna in 1 quart of hot (not boiling) water for 20 minutes. Pour over hair, allowing it to remain from 5 - 15 minutes, then rinse with clear water. Dry hair by combing. Castile soap will remove scalp stain after dye is set. Link to comment
