Guest Guest
One of the fans on this thing is making noises like a 747 taking off, so I guess I'll have to have DH change it. Till then, I might only be able to get online for a bit, maybe from work. I'll try. I'm so sorry... I keep hoping I'll get to catch up on all the messages. Happy anniversary, Snowmom & Old Pine!! ------------------ Quote Link to comment

Guest Guest
Oddly enough, when DS turned it on yesterday (DH is too busy to get the fan out yet), it hummed away as usual. And of course, he needed it for homework and today *I* need to go to work. Yes, it is a fairly new computer, bought in late February. If we have *them* fix it, we have to mail it to CA. DH can change the fan, if he gets to it. At work, the copier was acting up last week, and after that was fixed, something *else* went wrong and it can't be fixed until next week. So all copy work will have to be done elsewhere, done by *guess who*. Life goes on.... ------------------ Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Hey Cat, usually the only thing a creaky fan will do is drive you nuts! They don't seem to last long before they begin lift off, do they? Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Bummer (((Cat))). Hope your DH can fix it before it breaks down. We had our ancient machine go bad when we had a bad storm. But we found an expert in town who managed to scrape up an old fan for it and believe it or not, it still runs, LOL. If you haven't yet, make a backup of your email addresses and favorites. That can be a lifesaver. ------------------ Quote Link to comment
