Guest Guest
Two weeks ago I was fretting and worried sick as my son went off to Fort Knox to learn tanks. I asked you all to send good thoughts and prayers. Well, I talked to him today. You all really ordered him up some fine things. He is on base as an officer. His "barracks" are called a "hotel" when you go to leave a message for him. "Mom, it's so cool! The maid picks up my clothes and folds them! She cleans my kitchen, my room and my bathroom. When she makes the bed she leaves a mint on the pillow! I can get room service, cook or go to the dining room! I'm happier than a PIG IN ____! They're paying me to blow things up!" Then he said, "Thanks everyone! N!" Now then, I guess the Wrath of Mom is worse than the Wrath of the Army! I had to have a little talk with this man. I told him, "DO NOT get used to it. DO NOT expect your future wife to do it for you. I DID NOT raise you that way! And YOU'D better remember why you're there!" "Yes, Mother." heeheehee ------------------ Pray for Peace [This message has been edited by logcabinmama (edited September 21, 2002).] [This message has been edited by logcabinmama (edited September 21, 2002).] Quote Link to comment
