Story tag

Probably every civilization through the ages has told stories for education and entertainment - we're familiar with so many of them, tales of Zeus and Hera, Ra, the Bible stories... story telling is where many of our movies, books, and songs come from. The ability to weave a tale requires nothing more than your attention and a little creativity.

We're resurrecting an old MrsS tradition - "Story tag". Story tag is a series of posts by different members of our community who have NO IDEA what their predessor was going to say! That's because it's just like the game tag. That's what makes it fun. Imagine it as if we're all sitting around a campfire, one of us starts out then looks at another of us to continue the tale.

There aren't really any rules, but a few guidelines. It is perfectly ok if you don't want to participate but please don't leave the storyline dangling. If you are tagged and don't want to play, just post something silly like "oh! my doorbell is ringing. Perhaps you could call/visit/email so-and-so instead?" that will move the story on to another person. Don't feel like you have to immeidately respond either - sometimes a little thought can bring out the best in your writing. You can return the tag to someone who has already been tagged if that is what makes the most sense for your part of the telling. It will help, too, if you'll change the font color where you are doing the "tag you're it" part of the story.

Finally - remember it's for fun!

So, without further ado, I give you the post "Oh Where, Oh Where has..."
