John & Joan of Ark
Help! I've always used plantain for bug bites. DD walked out of the house Sunday and a nasty old yellow jacket bit her. Looks awful still today Monday when she got home from work. I'm not finding any plantain- weather is so weird this year- peonies are just blooming now- usually close to Memorial Day. So far we've tried baking soda, then calamine lotion. Just doused her with some silver water and then applied some honey and wrapped it up. One lady at work recommended mustard but does that mean the powdered kind? the kind you'd squirt on a hot dog? or ??? I've never done a mustard or onion plaster and I thought they burned sometimes so I thought I'd ask you experts Link to comment
Stephanie
Hi there, Here is a web page I order from and they have a lot of good information. They suggest several other things. http://www.bulkherbstore.com/search?id=S8tgF7Bs for example.... Lemon Balm has been prized by bee keepers since earliest time. It was credited with the ability to attract and nurture swarms of bees, and as a remedy for their stings. Link to comment
John & Joan of Ark
Wonderful! I have lemon balm in abundance! I divided my plants this year to try and keep em weed free and the old ones totally ready to harvest. Thanks so much. Link to comment
