sassenach Posted September 12, 2008 Share Posted September 12, 2008 So I soaked the onions in beef broth, added turkey meat balls, sauteed them, got my chili beans out, heated them up, and now I am waiting for it to cool down, the house smells good and its been cool enough today to enjoy cooking up the chili. The only thing not from scratch was the beef broth cube I used. So in a bit I will find out how the sort of carmelized dehydrated onions work out in this little amount of "almost" from scratch chili.
