Loving to Garden
I have read various articles about the H1N1 virus and am starting to gather things to prepare for home care and things to use to protect us.... I am eager for your suggestions. This is on my list so far gator ade or pedialite OTC flu meds, cold meds water free hand cleaner clorox wipes broth bleach/disinfectant rubber gloves face masks I need to have supplies here at home, in advance. I am on immune suppressants because of a chronic illness and will not be out running around if it should hit our area. I really appreciate your help - my brain just can't seem to get past this short list and I know there are other things that I should have. We do have vaporizers and humidifiers. .... Jori
Chris, In The Flu Clinic section, there are some great lists and thoughts. Plain Pringles to the list (it's discussed somewhere in the flu clinic), additional sheets/bedding, straws, water/sports bottles. Link to comment
Crazy4Canning
Let's not forget some trash bag liners and small trash cans (for throwing up). It's so much easier to tie a knot in the plastic than to toss the contents of a bowl. Remember, it's icky and you only want to see it once. Also, Llysol. It kills surface germs and the *smell* from someone throwing up is terrible. I also have some of those little gummy candies - good to settle the stomach and bring the blood sugar up. Do check out the flu thread. There's lots of good stuff in there. Link to comment
