Collette
My daughter is a very light eater, so will usually take the smallest piece of meat. On Thanksgiving Day, as we shared with my dad, his wife and her extended family, my daughter treated the day no differently. She took the smallest piece, that also looked the crispiest..it looked like something that was perfect for her. A few minutes into the meal, my fathers wife's cousin (she and her family are Filipino, so have traditions a little different than ours) says "Where's the turkey butt?" It turns out it is their favorite part of the turkey. The look on my daughters face was absolutely priceless. It is really fun learning about different cultures-even if it is the hard way.
