mommafitz Posted January 1, 2010 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Mornin' Ya'll ! Happy New Year to all! The sunshine is pretty this morning coming in sporadically thru the windows. It is cold. We are predicted to have the coldest weather of the season for the next few days. Brrrr!!!! My office is closed today so I have the day off....with pay. I'm gonna take down my tree and put away the Christmas decorations. Every year I enjoy my tree and hate to put it away. My family is asleep so I have some quiet time. Great time to reflect, plan, and talk with God. ....and run the dishwasher....and do laundry...... What are your traditional New Year's Day dinners? Here in the south it is black eyed peas, hog jowl, greens, and something else that I can't remember. Each represents prosperity for the upcoming year. We aren't doing traditional this year.
