Some rays of sunshine came my way this week when the school sent me an invitation for my son Max to enter the Challange program for gifted students. Only 10 children in the 2nd grade in our entire county were selected. Next fall they will meet one half day a week for a special class geared to encouraging him to use his potential on special projects. I am so thrilled for him and hope we are here so he can take advantage of it! The school system has been following these students since kindergarten and chose only 2 students from Max's class.
