Guest Guest
Hey Debs - now that's an idea! I have no clue if it works or not. If you try it, let me know the results! We've never grown popcorn....maybe we should, though. I would probably be my best customer! Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
I don't think field corn will pop, it'll just burn. We've grown popcorn a number of times and you need to plant popcorn "seeds" which can simply be kernels from a bag of store bought popcorn. Not the pre buttered etc. but like a plain old bag of Jolly Time. Did you know it has a bit of water inside and that's what makes it pop? Try it next spring! Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
One of the best things about questions like these is that I learn so much looking up the answers! I have used the reconstituted kernels in casseroles where the flavor really stands out! And sauteed in fresh bacon pieces, etc... Quote Link to comment
