Denlee
My brother is stationed in Afghanistan. He wants some of the jelly and jam that I have made. Does anyone know if it mails well with the common sense precautions? I don't want it to blow up or something all over his other things. Thank you for your help. Fairybeliever Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
I'd wrap the jar in a bubblewrap then place it into a metal can with a lid like those small cookie tins and then place that into a freezer bag as added precaution.....or simply just double the bubble wrap and then place inside a freezer bag. Denlee
Thank you all for being so kind. They have sealed and I left the rings on (I know that some people take them off). I will become a momentary queen of bubble wrap and freezer bags! I have also gone to the Sunporch and said hello. Thank you all for your help. Fairy Quote Link to comment
logcabinmama
Hi there. I too agree with the bubble wrap. Also, if he happens to need socks and such, that would make more protection too. Quote Link to comment
