Well, my first and only other computer was bought in 1999, to say it was slow is an understatement. It finally got to where I had to choose between loading and being able to play a game or keeping any other programs on my computer. Sorry to say all other program including my geneaology went the way of the wind. BUT, I got a new computer a week ago!

Oh, Karen, please try to back up your family tree when you get it all typed in. I know I had to do the same thing one time and there was a lot that I lost because I had gotten it from someone else and not able to get it again. Also, some people don't go as far back or out as others do. I myself, I go for the works. My niece on the other hand didn't and so when I used her info to put on my computer, I didn't have a LOT of what I had had before.
