Judy Moist Posted April 30, 2005 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Had severe storms move through last night, they said the rain would be out of here by midmorning, but it is still coming down... The rain slacked off enough,that I got outside with a rake and shovel and fixed me a squash bed, big enough to get 24 hills of squash..... My nephew is going to bring his tiller over to turn it over really well for me..Tomorrow I may get outside and do me a place for some green beans and cucumbers... wasn't going to do a garden this year, because we were hoping to be moving, but I figure we will probably still be here, so I am going ahead.. I have been reading all the posts about the gas crisis, and then went back and read all the post in "ARE YOU READY""WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO PREPARE",, ALL FOUR THREADS... and made the decision, that I was going to do some canning this summer, even if it kills me.....I did a little canning last year, but not what I am used too...
