Old Time Radio Shows

I came across this site and it has some neat radio shows from years ago. I use to go to sleep listening to the Radio Mystery Theater. Take a listen if you have time. I've included a list of the programs listed.

Oh lucky us!

we have a local station (WVOR 89.9) that every night from 9 pm to midnight they play old radio shows. Seems that they got a gift from an old lady that died years ago of all her reel to reel tapes she made back when they were on 'live' and she recorded every night. they have hundreds of tapes and every night you can hear anything that is on your list plus they do short sound bits about who was on that night and when it airs.

here is the list for Febuary 2010:

you can listen to some of them online for free.

Thank you! I have fond memories of listening to radio shows when I was a small girl at my grandma's house. There was one 'oldies' station that played them for two hours from 10 - 12 at night. Grandpa and I would talk about them over breakfast the next day. He told me it was almost as fun hearing them the SECOND time as it was the first, when he was a boy.

Thanks for the memories! :)
