  1. Furtively trying to remove that abomination from the gym area. Coconut cream pie is a NO-NO in any diet. Get Darlene to eat it all up and get it out of here ASAP! Before I am forced to stick a finger in it for a "little" taste and then another little taste etc...
  2. My everyday driver is a '96 minivan (only vehicle I ever bought new!) with 175,000 miles on it. Knock on wood, we've done nothing but oil, batteries, tires etc. on it. Then for carrying equipment and pulling trailers we have an 87 Jeep grand wagoneer with 4 wheel drive and 140,000 miles. My "garage queen" is a 1971 Chevelle with over 200K and still going strong. Just drive her occasionally now but I can't bear to part with her. Vrooom
  3. Gee, I thought we just lost you temporarily in the move and all. Hope you're back to normal soon!
  4. I guess I belong here. I'm definitely not on the east coast but us folks in the southeast usually think of the midwest as being another region. Just like the big businesses I guess we have consolidated the forums. Even if I was closer to the coast it would be the Gulf of Mexico, not the Atlantic ocean. Anybody artistic enough to draw a map with boundary lines? It's too late anyway now. I have decided this is my area and frankly I am just TOO big to move..
  5. Of course you are all invited to hold her. Since she is the second child her mother is much more lenient about things like that. (When Princess Sr. was born she acted like it was too dangerous for her to be held.) She is beautiful!! Jacqueline is 8lb 7 oz, 21 inches long and LOTS of dark brown hair. The hair is already starting to lighten though. (Is it real or is it Clairol?) She came over this weekend to visit us. I even go to feed her. Princess Sr. is taking it better than I thought. BUT...when they left and I leaned over to kiss baby good bye,she managed to get in front of the baby and steal the kiss for herself!
  6. I promise I'll keep my voice low in here..quiet like a library right? Snow, I know someday you will find the link to all my dead ends! LOL!! Keep up the good work.
  7. Another night owl on Atkins here. This is my third time I've been on it. This last time I began in early January. The weight loss is slower each time. However, it is the only diet I ever lose weight on. I didn't start out on the REAL low carb level this time. No ketosis. But I have held my carbs to between 20 and 30 a day and I'm averaging a loss of about 1-2 lbs a week. I only weigh about every 4-6 weeks though. Weekly weigh ins drive me nuts.
  8. So while I was busy ya'll decided to move on me. I got the hint! LOL. My parents moved on me a few times too but I always found them. Seriously though, Princess Jr. was born last week. While Mom was in the hospital I kept Princess Sr. Both of the Princesses sure are beautiful if I do say so myself.
