Well yeah its sunday. Kids go back to school tomorrow. Sorry I know that is bad. Lets see the high today is suppose to be 47 and we are suppose to start getting snow tomorrow thru wedensday. If it happens it will be the third time in a month. I already miss spring. Went to the meat market and got 1/4 cow and half a pig. So today I am working on dehydrating some jerkey. Hope everyone is haveing a lovely day.

I am proud to anounce I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! The tea worked she slept through the night except for one time for a feeding last night. I am ready to take on the world today. Okay maybe the rest of the house.lol..

You know when you think of holidays for some reason or another you do think of the long table with your loved ones with everything under the sun in front of you. When I got back with my DH my family did not approve at all. We also live about 7 hrs from the closest relative of mine so we celebrate it with his mother and a family friend. Now are you ready for some weird tasts. His family does not like turkey or ham so instead for Thanksgiving we have enchiladas, spanish rice, refried beans, and a veggie. For christmas we have Chicken and homemade dressing. I am praying for good holidays as this will be the first without my father in law and the first with our new daughter. I pray that everything goes well and everyone enjoys themselves. I have learned here recently that there is no way to please everyone.

Today was a pretty uneventfull day. I actually got some sleep...wooo hooooo .. The kids are finally getting better over strep and that I am excited about. I am ready for them to go back to school..lol. Now to start my housecleaning. So much to do before thanksgiving. Hope everyone had a wonderfull day.

wow these are great. Do you have anymore ideas Cat? I went to Sams Club and they had hamburger (90/10) for 1.29 per lb. I bought 50 lbs. Needing alot of ideas. But just in case what do you think of this one?

Poor Mans Stew:

1-2 lbs hamburger

1/2 small log of italian sausage

1 Large can of vegall

3 small cans of tomato sauce

1 small can tomato paste

garlic

1/2 onion

salt and pepper

1 can of diced tomato

Brown meats with seasoning together and drain fat. Add rest of ingredients in pot. Let simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally.

When I make this it makes two meals for all of us here. Hope it helps.

Well I have the geneology for my mother's side. For some reason my grandmother sent it to me today and it goes back to 1453. WOW!!!! Now my dad's side is more confusing. I know that he was born in Lubbock County Texas but that is it. His father's name is James Edward Armstrong but I dont know my grandmother or anyone else. I am so confused on where to start I think I need to read all of the posts here...lol.

Well if all it was doing here was raining I would be doing good. Todays high was 33 degrees. It has snowed all day and is suppose to all night. We right now are at 6 inches. I hope it dies out and warms up soon I have a Dr. appt. tomorrow at 4 and it is an hr away more north. YUCK!!!!
