  1. BRILLIANT THREAD BTW Another note about the stuff, I have here a 50ml bottle of australian tea tree oil, Bought nearly two years ago, it is only about half full now, the old saying a little goes a long way can definatly be applied to this stuff.
  2. *8thsinner* can't get to the computer right now, he is currently engaged in a curious act of rearranging his life to suit his new handstand living system. Absolutely hilarious.
  3. I will point out that a quarter is not a world wide suitable reference. Thats why I use a zippo for most of my size references, or a ruler. BTW, I would not touch that dandelion unless I could identify the one beside it, it looks like a cross breed, just too risky. The last pic off hand glancing reminds me of a burdock...
  4. Assuming you survive the quake. you can always dig down to your supplies, the problem may be more will the supplies survive it and quite possibly no. At a minimum I would say is to store things in steel tubing. If you have a garden that would be a better bet. Perhaps using a specially insulated scout pit design.
  5. If I had a garden I would want the same, no matter the size I would stock it with as much as possible going for the.... "His gardens a mess ya know" look. I would be carefull about the junk yard approach, Maybe a local river side path or parks, I would completely avoid main roads and similar for safety sake.
  6. Yeah there are some cool ones there but really, far too expensive, The only ones that I think are really worth paying the money for are the pool table, lifting stairs, and maybe the catering style gun lift...The rest of those book shelf door way designs can be made by normal ppl with just a little experience and preperation. and carefull making.
  7. Very nice ideas. thanks for that.

    DID YOU KNOW

Did you know you can cover holes and cracks better using stuff designed for cars instead of walls....It's a lot stronger.
  9. I can see where your opinion is coming from cat, but think of the other side of it too. And recipes from books are usually by in some form or other famous chefs. Wether it's the pizza place owned by a little italian women where you would drive 20 miles to eat. Or a TV chef. they all got there for a reason, those reasons are usually based on many more than one persons specific tastes. I do however agree that it is nice to share a recipe after cooking the meal, it makes you feel appreciated a little more, and if it is genuinely your own recipe then all the better.
  10. haha, rotflmao almost choking.. Well all I need is an email to forward it to. Oh btw for an online version of a book I don't recommend keeping references of each recipe beside each recipe. All resources should be kept seperate for space reasons and green reasons. 1) space, Don't waste so much printing paper with resources which don't have beneficial use. 2) Green, it's simply greener to save space. Okay this kinda fits in with (1) but still, resources are gonna do no one any good if the sthi hits.... anyway........
  11. I can forward literally hundreds of recipes from ebooks, Including 500 bread recipes, sauces, BBQ specials, Secret recipes from stores, Italian recipe books if any one reads italian, full cook books etc. I have not yet been bothered to go through them all, but If some one sorts them out into text organised (rtf format) I can put them into a professional book writing software and further more into a pdf. I also have nutrient, macro, electrolytes guides etc....
