Guest Guest Posted September 10, 2002 Share Posted September 10, 2002 After having our wedding date stolen by his brother's jealous girl friend, (she heard us anounce our wedding date and decided she was going to get married, talked his brother into marrying her, choose the date we had told her we were getting married on, printed up the invitations and handed them out before we found out about it.) we have finally settled on a new date. (date number six and last date.) I made the invitations myself and wrote them also. Here is what I wrote.......... Hello folks, please lend us your ear This is for folks we hold so dear It is a joyous occasion Come join in our celebration A hillbilly wedding it will be Oh won't you please join us, is our plea Now Rodger Grody is the groom He hopes to be a preacher soon Cora, often known as Hillbillee, Van De Car, Westbrook, is his filly And Shannon will give her Dad away Oh won't you come join us on this day It will be on the twelfth of October The time is four, oh won't you come over Now the year is two thousand two If your not there, we will be blue Shirley Jane G***'s home it will be at M******, Michigan that's a fact The address is **** East L**** And it won't be complete without you in it Go to the restaurant called The Loggers Turn on Valley Road, even you joggers Take a right turn on East Limits street If you can make it, that would be neat Turn left at East Side Tattoo Oh please come, we will miss you We have made the decision To fore go the tradition Wedding attire will be bibs That is true, we tell you no fibs Dress like your going to a cook out Yes, we are crazy without a doubt Now this wedding will be real fun So don't forget to bring your gun! Hillbillee Westbrook of Westbrook farms, you can have the name, soon I will get a new name and you can keep yours. Soon there will be only 1 Westbrook in here but still 2 Hillbillee's. LOL Hill Am I Hillbillee 1 or 2? Now you got me all confused. Hey how do you drive a Hillbillee crazy? You add another Hillbillee to the room. Guest Guest Posted October 2, 2002 Share Posted October 2, 2002 Yes only 10 days! I have so much to do yet, but hope to be able to relax when the day comes. Actually we are already married. We had so many problems with the kid that we got married, said it is done, now except it. But that was a cold wedding with not so nice memories. We plan to have the wedding we wish to remember in 10 days with a hillbilly preacher. We are hoping to get some pictures, we will be looking like a couple of hillbillys for sure. I even found some good hats to fit the part. I'd share the pictures but I don't know how to do that. Maybe I can send them to someone who could post them for us. Hill Quote Link to comment
