tinture making advice

I had been looking for yerba mansa tinture for my dh. And had not been able to find any local. BUT I did find dried roots from Richters. I only orderd 25g to try (it's 25g/9.00). Can someone tell me how much vodka I would add to that amount to make tinture???? A newbie very apreshietive of help .

According to the conversion chart here

25 g =0.88184904 ounce

That would be approximatly 1/2 cup vodka to 25 g.

 

Maybe someone else can offer better help as I am not familiar with this herb
