mushrooms and onions?

Has anyone ever canned mushrooms and onions? I was thinking of just dropping some whole button mushrooms and sliced onions covering with boilling water. Has anyone ever tried that? I wonder how the texure would be.

I've canned mushrooms alone, although I did slice them and they came out awesome. I've canned onions in different meals I've made and they can great too. I would assume that the two together would be just fine. Just process for the time required for the mushrooms, as they take a longer processing time.
