California where it is hot too, although the past couple weeks have sure cooled down here. Today it is cloudy, we had a few sprinkles and lots of thunder and lightening! Goose Liver Posted September 2, 2002 Share Posted September 2, 2002 Hey Ms.Ang. Hot, hot hot is it? My parents have, rather had a trailer in Phoenix, about 15 minutes away from the airport. They just sold it last week. To much on the exchange for canadian money, pad rental. They are happy they sold. They used to go down every December after Christmas and come back the end of March. I asked them what they are going to to now and they said by a motor home and drive to Phoenix, giggle. I took my kids to visit them two years ago on Spring break. I loved the heat, it wasn't humid yet. The people were so nice to us, the thing that floored me were the signs at the stores that said "no guns please". ------------------ Quote Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 6, 2002 Share Posted September 6, 2002 My favorite place to eat is in Boron--Domingos! mmmmmmmm Right around the time I moved away from there, Mr. Domingo opened up the 2nd one in Tehachapuppy. Cal. city has really grown too. We went thru a couple of years ago. I can't believe they finally rebuilt the airport! It looks great! I hear the county is getting ready to build a huge bypass out there in the Mojave Area. How sad it will be for the town....
