If you have any Quakers in your background you might hit a goldmine here. I found the meeting minutes of several of the congregations DH's family members were in. If you are lucky, you will get alot of details. DH even had a female relative who was a minister way back nearly 200 years ago. I was surprised to find out that women were able to do this way before we had "equal rights"
