Guest Guest Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 You didn't see me? I was waving my hand off , saying hey , debbielee look, I'm waving to you LOL I decided to stay home and watch on tv.... They had a web cam riding on the first float, so it was seen by people all over the world but I didn't find out until it was too late ... Besides, they would pay me to NOT show my stuff! LOL Remember I'm a grandma.... It was fun to watch the tourist's reaction to the parades and other people..... Keep in mind the tourist are in the French Quarter for the most part, families stay away and go to St. Charles Ave.... Something people might not know is the decorated trucks that follow the parades, they are about 150 pr more..... The people leave right after the parades and never see the rest of New Orleans, it's a shame....... Quote Link to comment
