Had too much for one canner so did quarts in the dial gauge one and pints in the one with the pressure weights. The pressure on the dial gauge dropped to 5 pounds when I started up the other propane burner on the camp stove, so of course I brought it back up to pressure and then started the timing all over again. It's overcooked but the biggest thing is most of the liquid boiled out of the jars. Is this still safe to eat? Will it dry out in the jar? Should I toss it as my husband said and waste all the time, money and prep? Thanks for any advice, Susan Link to comment
