Thunderstorms Tuesday

Good morning everyone

 

It's a noisey morning of thunderstorms in my neck of the woods. Thunderstorms are kind of fun with the lightning and thunder if you don't have to be out in it and there's no heavy winds, tornado or hail warnings out. We don't really need the rain so much for crops but my flowers needed a nice drink and this keeps me from having to water. That's a good thing!

 

Since I can't work outside today I guess I'll have a "playdate" and go out to lunch and play bridge with the girls. Usually this time of year I don't like to take a whole afternoon for lunch and bridge but I think I will today. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a wet afternoon.

Thunder Storms are coming here too today.

 

So yes lots of work inside - Also very hot out again.

 

the other day we had a storm that dropped 2" of rain in 20 minutes . . . . . OUCH!

and we are STILL in a heat wave.
