Guest Guest
Everyone has his or her own traditions for each holiday. We have finally settled on what will be ours for Easter. What is your Easter tradition for dinner? Here is ours.......... Root beer ham Easter egg potato salad (with colored eggs) Baked beans Macaroni salad Veggie tray Cottage cheese Watermelon Fruit pie We combined tradition with spring picnic. My parents and my sister and brother whom are both single and didn't have a family to spend the holiday with came over and ate till they were so stuffed they could barely move to go home. My root beer ham is always a big hit and when I make it there is never any leftovers, no matter how much I make. Tell us what your Easter tradition is at your house. Hill Quote Link to comment
Homesteader
Well we've changed our traditions since our little chick has left the nest. We have to work out things with our "new relatives" now. This year was pretty small and simple. For the first time DIL made the main meal. I enjoyed only bringing a dessert! The best part was that my kitchen didn't get dirty this time. We had Spiral honey ham Fruit salad Green Beans Corn on the cob Mashed potatoes Cornbread Strawberry Pie (DIL's Mom made this) Pineapple upside down cake (I made) The kids were angels and it was beautiful outside so we got to swim and play ball after dinner.
