I have a couple large bottles of Vitamin C I bought from CVS when they are on sale, and they have a Use By date of June 2014. If they last even longer than that I would like to stock up on them. I would guess they would vary a lot depending on what specific vitamin it is. One thing that we have found in our search regarding expiration dates on prescription medicine is that many, many of them are good for many years past the expiration date. The US military actually did the research on this, so it is pretty trustworthy. My DH has a website that addresses a lot of questions like this....maybe you can find some info there.
