Ellensburg Washington in the Fall - pictures, might be slow to download

The dogs and I went south of town a bit, to the Yakima River Canyon to walk and catch some fall color.

 

I thought I would share a few pics.

 

This is a good shot of the hills of our area. The trees are below where the river is.

 

This is just south of town, where Art goes fishing on the river.

 

I had to hike up high to get this one. You can see the BNSF rail line and an orchard

 

I thought you might like a peek at my day.

What lovely pictures, Joan - your photos are much better than mine - no bits of thumbs and wisps of hair in them!! The colours are spectacular; the trees here have changed too, and there were some impressive colours on our trip up to Bath on Tuesday, the sunshine making them even better. The first one of the hills looks a bit like Scotland, too.

Your view is such a contrast from my view of harvested corn fields! The photos remind me of the pictures on jigsaw puzzles! What a gorgeous site!
