Homesteader Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 Momo is very tired tonight. The Princesses spent the night last night. This morning we were all up and ready to go by 7 am. I had to fix a nice big country breakfast. Then we had to go to town. We had to refill our prescriptions,get gas and cash and pick out our new baby chicks. ( Our old hens have applied for social security so we need some egg layers to replace them) The 2 year old also wanted some baby bunnies but we managed to leave without buying some. We had to set the chicks up with their heat lamp, food and water. Then we had to rake our yard, play ball, chase the cat, feed all the critters, sing and dance, eat lunch. After dark we had a hot dog/marshmallow roast and a final chick check. Then the bath routine, story book reading and finally SLEEP. It is quiet finally. I am sooo tired but it was fun. They go back tomorrow. Then we will have 2 days rest before the big Easter celebration on Sunday. Link to comment
