A simple one sheet family tree makes a very nice gift. If you can't write neatly you can use a template online and print it out. It doesn't have to be an in depth chart. Just providing the names and dates of a few generations and framing it will most likely be appreciated.

 

Most people really like something out of the ordinary "mall bought gift".

Hey Y'all...Here's a website where you can download a nice form and insert [type in] the names of four generations of your ancestors. This would look nice if it were put in a frame...

for finding that site for us. I'll have to check it out. I myself won't be useing it as I have made books for some of the nieces and all, but it would be a great idea for those who have no information at all.
